Common Ground

For this suite of wines, winemaker Kym Teusner sourced fruit grown in the Utopos Vineyard with a little help from neighbours who occupy soil types which are common to their own, hence, Common Ground was a fitting name for the brand.

The range of wines were being introduced to the Utopos stable as a stand alone brand so it wanted to reflect sophistication and attainable quality, whilst not diluting the Utopos core range which represent the top tier, single vineyard products.

We created a strong icon based on the initials CG with a linea graphic reminiscent of vineyards. A series of bold coloured foils distinguish the varietals within the range and provide the labels with a strong shelf presence.
